Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min attend an event for “Playful Kiss” in Japan

Actors Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min recently met with their Japanese fans at an event commemorating the broadcast of “Playful Kiss” in Japan.

On May 3rd, the actors met with about 6,000 fans in two different events held at Osaka’s Grand Cube Hall. Tickets for the two events sold out on the first day the tickets became available, and it’s largely being attributed to Kim Hyun Joong’s popularity.

The idol-turned-actor spoke candidly at the event, saying, “I was very worried about my fans after hearing the news about the earthquake in March. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t come in March, but I’m happy I get to see you all before the drama starts its broadcast.”

The two shared some behind-the-scenes stories from set, and showed their affection for their characters. Kim Hyun Joong also sang ‘Thanks‘ and ‘One More Time‘ at the event, giving his personal fans an extra treat at the event.

Kim Hyun Joong participates in a marathon supporting childhood cancer

On May 1st, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong joined about 150 people in a Seoul city marathon competition at the Han River Park in support of children affected by cancer.

This was the 8th marathon co-hosted by the Running Doctors of Korea corporation and the Korean Marathon Association.

At the event, Kim Hyun Joong helped out in the ceremonial handover by presenting $23,000 USD in donations collected by employees of an anonymous company to the two organizations.asdf

The proceeds from this competition will go to the aid of children suffering from cancer.\

On 11th afternoon, broadcast of MBC ‘Good Day’, kid star Kim Su Jeong with her Russian grandmother, both auntie and mother with beautiful face also participated in the program.

Extending my deepest condolences

to the victims of the Earthquake that happened in the North-eastern Pacific region

I understand that on the 11th of March,

there was an earthquake in the north-eastern pacific.

After knowing about the devastating aftermath of the earthquake,

I am very worried.

Originally the event was to be held today,

and I’ve been looking forward to meet everyone.

However, because of the disaster that happened,

we were forced to cancel the plans to visit Japan.

I am not sure if every victim of the earthquake are all in a very dire state or not,

but I really hope that everyone will take care of their health

and continue to pray that everyone can quickly go back to live in safe, peaceful times again.

I look forward to the day when I could see everyone in the highest form again.

Kim Hyun Joong made a donation of 100 million Won to help the Japan Earthquake.

On the 14th, Kim Hyun Joong had made a donation of 100 million won through DA agency to help the victims and the damages caused by the Japan earthquake.

Kim Hyun Joong said “I was shocked and sad to hear the news. Although i cannot help much, but i hope everything will recover quickly and i hope to be able to help those victims.”

He added with favour, “There are a lot of people who need our help. Let’s all join our hearts together and give them hope.”

An Japan agency official revealed, “To show his concern, Kim Hyun Joong had seeked my opinion of the fastest way to purchase aid supplies and to be delivered to the victims as soon as possible.

Actor and singer Kim Hyun Joong has recently donated 100 million won to the victims of the recent earthquake in Japan.

His agency in Japan, Digital Adventure (DA), asked that the money be used in the afflicted areas, and for victims with the greatest need.  Kim Hyun Joong said, “My heart hurts so much to hear about this.  I hope that everyone can stay strong.”  He also said, “Many people are joining hands in this crisis.  Everyone, please come together with one heart.
